As Winter bodes a final farewell, Spring is approaching with warmer weather. We can start to see the flowers popping up and the leaves fill the trees. It is absolutely perfect!
This last winter was full of family memories. We had a magical Christmas celebration that lasted for two weeks. Santa brought Frosty the Snowman with him. Seeing the children’s faces light up with the excitement of getting to meet them was absolutely priceless. The kids had a blast decorating Christmas Cookies, then gobbling them up in delight. As we brought in the New Year, we knew that this year is going to be full of fun!
We are kicking off our two full weeks of Spring Break here at Tres Rios. The smell of popcorn and children’s laughter can be heard from all around as the kids enjoy movies, crafts, and lots of fun activities. Easter is right around the corner and there have already been sightings of the Easter Bunny popping his head around a corner or two. You won’t want to miss the Memorial Day Celebration where there will be games, face painting, live music, and so much more to honor those who so bravely served our Country.
We have made a lot of improvements around the park that we think you are sure to enjoy. You have got to check out the updates on the horse stall. What a great touch. Cabin 1 has been totally remodeled with new floors, paint, and furniture. The bathhouse was also remodeled, as well as Cabin 17. We hope you enjoy all of the nice changes that we have made here at Tres Rios, so pack a bag and come have some Texas fun!
