The park has been swarming with people looking to escape the city life. We’ve seen an early rush of families, kids, and grandparents come stay for a couple of weeks on the park. The indoor learning of reading, writing and arithmetic is being replaced with the life wisdom of parents and grandparents. Little ones are catching their first fish while others are learning to swim off the beach.
Texoma Shores is a great place to come to get away from it all. We are far away from the sounds of a bustling city and the bright city lights. All we hear is the sound of the lake and the birds chirping. Join the other spectators as the sun rises and sets in a wonderful view of the Oklahoma sky.
In the last few months we have been hard at work finishing the dock. We have also cleared out the rest of the storm debris from last winter. We are making a lot of progress on the walking paths throughout the park. We’re sure you will find that perfect fishing spot or just some quiet place to read a book. If you’ve never seen the breathtaking view of our night sky, plan a trip soon.
