The year is off to the right start here at Styx River. Friday Night Family Bingo is a big hit with all ages. Currently, we are also in the midst of our Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball. There is a lot of fun being had at Styx River right now!
We enjoyed the feasts we’ve had together during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wonderful food and fellowship were enjoyed by all. We rang the New Year in with our Roaring 20’s Party where wearing your flapper dress was a must! Then we put our dancing shoes on again and boogied into a Very Groovy 70’s Dance Party.
We can’t wait for the upcoming events that we have planned this Spring. In March, we will be turning green during our St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Bring your Hippie to our 60’s Disco later in the month. In April, don’t miss our glow party or our Easter Weekend. Both will be full of games, food, and fun. We have a special Mother’s Day event and a huge Memorial Day Weekend planned in May. This Spring will be so much fun!
We have been busy making some updates and improvements around the resort. We painted the inside of the clubhouse, added a new roof to the restaurant and attached breezeway, made improvements to the WiFi and are currently remodeling several of the cabins.
