Here’s a little something for our members to look forward to: Abita Spring’s Crawfish Boil Weekend will be taking place April 25-28, 2013 at Abita Springs Resort! We are planning many events for the weekend, including a headlining performance of Lou Renshaw from Florida performing Country and Classic Rock for our members. The performance will take place on Saturday, April 27th at 7:00 PM. Bring your dancing shoes!
Of course, we will have lots of food for everyone. We will have mountains of crawfish, potatoes, and ears of corn, as well as other things for you to munch on during the festivities. Bring the whole family along for food, fun, and music. More events and performers as well as food pricing will be announced as the weekend draws nearer, so keep your eyes peeled.
If you haven’t visited Abita Springs RV Campground yet, the weekend of our Crawfish boil would be a great time to get introduced to the resort. Just over Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans, Abita Springs is a beautiful shady campground, including a large clubhouse, new comfortable cabins, and a serene walking path in the woods, an on-site lake where you can go fishing or spot wildlife, and a pool and hot tub overlooking the lake. Abita Springs is a great place to have fun and spend time with your friends and family. There is also a lot to do around the park – for some nearby attractions.
We are looking forward to having another successful weekend of fun with our members and we can’t wait to see you at Abita Springs this April! It wouldn’t hurt to book early, as we are expecting a large crowd that weekend.
