Motorized RVs
Motorized RVs are RVs you can drive around without hitching to a car. There are three different kinds of RVs: Class A, Class B, and Class C.
Class A motorhomes are, for the most part the biggest and most luxurious of all the classes of motorhomes. Essentially, everything that you could ever want at home, you can find in a Class A RV. The size of a class A motorhome ranges between 15,000 and 30,000 pounds and are anywhere from 15-30 feet in length. A lot of Class A motorhomes also have a automatic slideout, where you simply push a button and extend your wall to give you more space in your RV. In your class A motorhome you can most likely find a refrigerator, cooking facilities, toilet, faucets, sinks, water tanks, heating, air conditioning, a 100-125 volt electrical system, as well as anything else you could ever want, like an entertainment system. Class A motorhomes can allow sleeping arrangements for up to 8 people, depending on the layout of the particular model. However, class A motorhomes are very expensive, ranging anywhere from $100,000 to over $500,000.
Class B motorhomes are the smallest completely enclosed motorhomes you can buy. They are also commonly known as “van conversions”. Class C motorhomes are smaller versions of class A motorhomes and are sometimes referred to as mini-motorhomes. Ranging in weight from 10,000 to 12,000 pounds and stretching from 20 feet to 31 feet in length, it is more affordable and easier to handle than their larger cousin, the Class A motorhome. Class C motorhomes have a rear bedroom in the back and usually also come with a sleeping bunk above the cab. Class C motorhomes also often include a slideout to maximize your living space and comfort. Included in class C unites are a refrigerator, heating and air conditioning, cooking facilities, toilet, faucets, sinks, gas supply, water tanks, a 100-125 volt system, as well as entertainment options like a TV or sound system. Pricing on class C motorhomes range from $50,000 to $150,000.
