Summer weather is about to be behind us here on the bayou. Members have been enjoying cooling off by taking a dip in the pool and enjoying a few ice cream cones! We’ve been having a great time learning to dance with Clint, singing our hearts out at Karaoke, and enjoying our canvas creation paintings.
This Summer has been a hot one! What better way to beat the heat than a Fourth of July pool party? The DJ was playing some great songs while members relaxed and had fun in the cool pool waters. We had over 20 kids enjoy tie-dying shirts, and not to mention, the adults that came to participate as well. Chocolate lover’s weekend was a real blast with plenty of crafts, Chocolate Bar Toss, and of course, a chocolate potluck with gooey brownies and delicious dirt cake!
We are looking forward to the cooler temperatures and crisp fall air! You aren’t going to want to miss our Country Weekend in September. We’ll have Family Farm Yard Charades, Horse Shoes, plenty of crafts, and some good ole’ country cookin’ at our Country Potluck. Halloween Celebrations are going to be a blast this October. Pick out your best Halloween costume and come enjoy our Costume Contest, Trick-or-Treating, and Pumpkin Decorating. November is going to be full of celebrations with our Veterans weekend, Native Americans Weekend, and of course our Thanksgiving celebrations!
We’ve been hard at work with updates at the Resort this season. Some of our rental accommodations are sporting new AC units to help our members stay cool, as well as, relaxing on the new furniture! We are also looking at doing a few repairs to the clubhouse floor soon. Be sure to come out, relax and have a great time.
