This Summer has been a great one out on the Ridge. We’ve all been enjoying the sunshine and all the fellowship with friends that this season has brought us. The Glow Pool party was an absolute blast and helped us to beat the heat! Branson Ridge members have been enjoying plenty of nature walks, crafts, potlucks, and movie nights.
Our 4th of July celebrations were filled with patriotic crafts and delicious shaved ice. The cookout filled the park with smells of summer, and we loved seeing all the decorated golf carts and dressed up pups! We celebrated Dad’s in June with a live band and a big bonfire with friends. We’ve enjoyed the water balloon fights and squirt gun water races. There is just no better way to enjoy the summer’s sunshine!
Fall will be here soon and with it, cool crisp air and falling leaves. We are so excited to once again enjoy our Witchy Weekend! Make sure you come out and enjoy trick-or-treating, costume contests for both the kids and dogs, and live music. In November we will be honoring all our Veteran’s with a Recognition Ceremony. Come help us give thanks to the brave men and women that served for us. Don’t forget about Thanksgiving on the Ridge! We’ll be having a delicious potluck feast and lots of great fellowship.
Improvements are ongoing here and we’ve made some really great ones this Summer. The gathering place had a new roof installed and we repainted all our playground animals on the park. The smoke house was re-stained, and we put in new screens and new screen doors. A big thank you to all the wonderful members that pitched in a helping hand with the new fire pit!
