Branson Ridge – Spring 2019

As tourist season prepares to take off in the city of Branson, we are gearing up for a great season! Soon the temperatures will rise and the hills will begin to majestically turn back into their green cover.

We had over 350 people join us for games, food, trick-or-treats, bands, contests and being spooked at our haunted house on our Witchy Weekend last fall. In November, we rounded out the season with the largest turnout ever for our home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. With over 200 members gathered, we swapped stories and casserole recipes, and filled the room with the memories of what we’re thankful for. The most memorable event in 2018 for us was the unveiling our veterans wall. We encourage you to come by and see it on your next trip.

Here at Branson Ridge we’re excited for another season of camping, fun, and activities. Kicking things off we have a “Welcome Back” weekend to welcome all of our regulars…and some new faces, back to the Ridge. Join us this April for our Member Appreciation Weekend and our Easter Celebration. In May, we will have another unforgettable Cinco de Mayo Fiesta and Mother’s Day Celebration, and a great Memorial Day planned with live music. From campfires to cookouts, members are sure to enjoy gathering together and having lots of fun.

Throughout the winter months we tackled a number of renovation projects around the resort. The first, and perhaps biggest, project of winter was replacing the roof on our Compton Ridge Lodge. We also put a new tin roof over the front of the Gathering Hall. We are beginning to update the bath houses and have just finished installing new lighting in many of our buildings.
