Branson Ridge is wrapping up one of the best years of the resort. We’ve had such a strong request to stay open longer in the last couple of years that this year we are going to remain open through the end of December. We are really excited to be around our friends just a bit more and enjoy the holiday season with each other. If you haven’t experienced Branson during its Christmas Season, it has all new shows. Silver Dollar City’s “Christmas in Midtown” is well worth another week on the resort.
Branson Ridge has done numerous improvements and repairs this past year. Many of the cabins have been repaired. We’ve upgraded many with new furniture and replaced air conditioning units. New roofs have been installed on a number of the buildings along with updating HVAC systems in some of the common areas. New fencing and a member-built bench were installed at the dog park. New washers and dryers have been installed in the laundry room. We’ve also replaced numerous lights throughout the resort with more efficient LED lights.
Future plans include painting some of the buildings, continuing to replace lighting and replacing all of the mattresses in the cabins and cottages. We plan to fix the problem by the large outdoor pool. There are also plans to replace the railroad ties with new pavers and adding more gravel to more sites. We also hope to renovate the café soon as well.
Next year is going to be packed with some great activities. We have our first ever Chili Cook-Off at the end of April. Bring your favorite song or best magic trick and let’s see what you’ve got at our Branson’s-Got-Talent-Weekend this July.
