We’ve been busy making a lot of family memories at Tres Rios. We’ve been enjoying cooling off in the pool and by lounging around the Squaw Creek. There’s a great smell of the fresh outdoors and the cookouts. Snow cones and ice cream floats have helped to beat the heat this year.
We watched our dads chug some Root-beer and compete in that Name-That-Tool contest for Father’s Day. The 4th of July Weekend brought a lot of fun with eating contests, family games, and plenty of snow cones. We made some scaly new friends in August with our hands-on reptile presentation.
We have several events planned for this fall. We kick things off the “Let the Good Times Roll Weekend” in September Sock Hop VS MTV Party. We have 2 weekends planned for our Fall Festival for October. We plan to have hayrides, trick-or-treat, and some old-fashioned fall fun. In November, come honor those who served our country at our Veterans’ Day Ceremony.
Our team has been working hard around the resort this season. We’ve been repairing the potholes that creep in through the rain to make a safer vacation for all our members. Our new tie-in to the city sewer system has been progressing quite well and we hope to see it completed soon.
