As the kids are finally headed back from “Spring Break” we are excited to see some cooler weather blow through the air. We are going to miss the families during the week, but will be excited to have them visit us on the weekends!
The Summer fun has been in full swing with swimming in the pool and ice cream socials. We’ve been enjoying a whirlwind of activities with our Waterworld Weekend and the Styx Circus Weekend. The highlight, however, had to be Father’s Day weekend with crafts made for Dad and an outdoor movie just for him.
As we head into the Fall, September brings a special Labor Day Celebration, our First Day of Fall Weekend, and a Medieval Weekend. In October come travel the world at our “Around the World in 48 Hours Weekend,” scavenger hunt for the best prize, and bring the whole family to our “Family Fun Halloween Weekend”. Cook up your best pot of chili this November and compete with the best at the “Chili Cookoff.” Play some fun carnival games at our “Fall Festival” and don’t miss the “Annual Thanksgiving Potluck.”
The resort staff has been busy remodeling some areas along the park. We have been pressure washing buildings and staining decks. The grounds are continually being mowed and trimmed to look it’s best.
