The Summer air is on its way out at Abita Springs as we anxiously await the Fall. Members have been enjoying the pool during the sweltering days. Many crafts have been created in the clubhouse. Bingo and Karaoke have been a great way to get out of the heat and have a good time.
We started our Father’s Day festivities off with picture frame and ties crafts for the kiddos and bingo later that day. The golf cart and bicycle parade for the Fourth of July had a fantastic turnout and all our members enjoyed hot dogs at the pavilion that evening. The kids enjoyed the Back to School weekend in August with crafts, kid’s bingo, and family games.
Labor Day & Membership Appreciation Blowout weekend is just around the corner in September. We’ll have a cookout, golf cart parade, and karaoke later that evening. Bring the kids out in October for Halloween with costume contests and trick or treating. In November we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with great food and fellowship!
Our River Ratz Room has been redesigned and updated. The bathhouse is getting a fresh coat of paint. We’ve been hard at work planning the layout of the new dog run!
