It’s wonderful to see new baby geese around the resort. With all the disarray that seems to be coming from the world around us, there seems to be this new life that is springing forth. We have baby geese running around, new flowers blooming, and the quietness of nature that is calling for our lives to slow down. The sun is shining at Abita Springs RV Resort while members enjoy lounging in hammocks and reading their favorite books.
This summer we hope to be enjoying some great events. In June, we are planning Dinosaur Days Weekend. Come explore the stars with us in July during our Space Exploration weekend. Bring your grass skirts and dance with us in August at the Hawaiian Luau all weekend long.
Everyone needs to see the new deck around the pool. We’ve replaced the wood with concrete and in the process of replacing the fence and pavilion. Plans are being made for updating the AC ducts in cottages and cabins as well as adding a fresh coat of paint to many of the buildings. We are looking forward to spending the summer with our awesome members.
