Ocean Canyon Properties (OCP), the Southeast’s largest private membership camping resort company, is proud to announce the acquisition of Hideaway Ponds Resort in Gibson, Louisiana. Hideaway Ponds was acquired by Ocean Canyon Properties on September 29, 2017.
Hideaway Ponds is a “members only” resort, located among the bayous of Louisiana’s “Cajun Country”. Open year-round for all members, amenities include an outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool and hot tub, a 4000-square foot club house, paddle boating, a stocked fishing pond, playgrounds, and scheduled recreational and social activities. The resort also features four cabins, five park model cottages, and 100 RV sites with 30/50-amp electrical full hookups.
Ocean Canyon Properties is planning on undertaking many upgrades to the resort, including building additional RV sites, adding many amenities, including a new playground and a new welcome center, adding additional staff, and completely renovating existing facilities.

It is a perfect complement to Abita Springs, our other membership resort in southern Louisiana, located across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans.”
