Hideaway Ponds – Annual 2019

As we head into a new year, we are excited for what’s is being planned here at Hideaway Ponds!

Throughout 2018, we have been continuously making improvements to the park…while enjoying lots of fun activities! This year a new operations team has come aboard and we opened the resort to all our OCP members. One of the areas we really wanted to build up when we purchased Hideaway Ponds was our activities department, and Stacey Babin, our Activities Director, has done a great job of developing a fun schedule of events and get togethers that have been a hit for all our members and guests! From coffee socials to karaoke…from arts and crafts to live entertainment…she has brought a lot of energy and fun to the resort!

2018 also brought a lot of upgrades to the resort. Front entry signage was replaced, the playground area was expanded, park models and cabins were updated with decks and new furnishings, 4 new cottages were added, the WiFi system was upgraded, and many more projects were undertaken by the team here. And there is more to come, so be on the lookout for improvements to both the clubhouse and pool areas that are set to take place in 2019!

Resort manager, Wanda Trosclair, is also excited about the great activites that members can expect to take place this next year. In addition to daily activities, there will are big events being planned in celebration of all major holidays…including Mardi Gras, a true Louisiana celebration!
