Branson Ridge – Annual 2019

The staff were busy this year making updates to the park and the members have had a great time enjoying all the activities this season. We put new roofs on our indoor pool and also in our Compton Ridge Lodge! We also built new horseshoe pits that are getting plenty of use, as well as an awesome new outdoor amphitheater for our members to enjoy. Looking ahead, we plan to continue with updates around the park. One in particular that we are so excited about, is beginning to tackle some improvements and refurbishments in our bathhouses!

Here at Branson Ridge, we take pride in our activities. This coming year, members can expect even more big events to take place for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Week, and Thanksgiving. Plus, we are already thinking about our biggest event of the season, which is our famous “Witchy Weekend” that celebrates Halloween. Our activities coordinator will have a fun set of weekly activities going on around the park all season long!

One of our most touching memories this past year is when Branson Ridge Resort took part in a very special Veterans Day Ceremony. Collectively, the resort and members put together a Wall of Honor. Resort manager, Bill Turney, says “The unveiling of our Wall of Honor on Veterans Day was moving to see. Our Veterans placed their names, pictures, and memorabilia up on the wall for all to view. This was a very special moment for all of us and I would like to give a special thanks to Dwayne and Rosa Boeres for their work on the wall.”

As we move into the New Year, the team at Branson Ridge is already working towards opening week! They can’t wait to see all of the returning members and listen to them share stories of their winter travels and adventures. There are so many things to do in Branson and our team encourages all our members and guests to come out and enjoy the fun!

Overall, Branson Ridge has had a great year! Whether it be the improvements that have been made, activities, or special events that have taken place, many great things have happened this season! We are looking forward to a great 2019.
