At the end of August, we were just on the right side of Hurricane Ida. The communities around us were damaged and flooding. However, we experienced only little amount of damage from the wind and rain. Cleanup is underway and we appreciate all the help we’ve received from many of the other resorts.
During the last several months, we’ve been hard at work at Abita Springs. We have replaced all of the mattresses in the cabins. Our guests have been quite pleased.
In the next few months, we will be replacing the gutters and facial boards on the clubhouse. We’ll be removing and replacing several boards on the exterior face of the clubhouse followed with a new cote of paint. We also hope to replace the walkway around the clubhouse as well. A couple of the cabins will have new roofs.
