We just finished the 11th annual Mountain Lakes Music Festival a couple of weeks ago and it was an absolute blast! We all had so much fun. Every morning at 10AM and every afternoon at 2PM we had the treat of getting to watch our members (and even certain staff members of Mountain Lakes!) get up in the Eagle’s Nest and sing and play their instruments for us. It was a great way to start the day. Every day was different, and special. Each night we had different performers headlining the festival – Backwoods Revival, Wills Valley Bluegrass, The Carrell Family, Dewey Wells and the Gary Waldrep Band, Bonnie Ridge Bluegrass, and Blackjack Ridge all were headliners at the festival. Throughout the weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to speak to our members, who all remarked on how great the festival was. One staff member of Mountain Lakes remarked how the festival was “one of the best yet!”
