If you want to experience life as a Cajun under the magnificent oak trees, come down to our family oriented resort where you can swim, fish, or just plain relax! Hidden in the wetlands of South Louisiana, Hideaway Ponds has two ponds and nearby access to some of the best fishing in the United States.

Come Pass a Good Time At Hideaway Ponds
Hideaway Ponds is located 20 minutes from Morgan City and Houma, LA. Just 1 hour away from New Orleans, you can enjoy the big city or relax at the Resort with some fishing or crafts. Bring your family for some great RV camping Cajun style!
Things to do while you're here
There are plenty of activities to keep you busy at the resort. We have a large clubhouse where guests get together to play games, do crafts, and spend time together. Inside, we also have a few arcades for the kids. Outside we have a large junior Olympic size swimming pool and an indoor heated pool with a hot tub. There are many picnic areas around the resort, a playground for the kids, fishing ponds, horseshoes, shuffleboard, paddle-boats and kayaks, volleyball, basketball, and even a park for your dog.
If you venture outside the park, there are many fun places to visit. From local festivals, a zoo, aquarium, and museum to boating, fishing, and swamp tours, there are many things to do outside the resort. Plus we are close to the French Quarter in New Orleans, the Wildlife Gardens, Mardi-Gras, and many great Cajun restaurants.
Hide out in the great outdoors
Whether you plan on lounging around the camper, catching a cool breeze by the fishing pond, or reading a book by the pool, there's a lot to do outside. Hideaway Ponds has ample room to let the kids ride their bikes, play around the playground, and play catch.
We have 2 private fishing ponds on the resort full of fish, or get out on the water in a paddle-boat or kayak.
Where Friends Meet
Whether it's around a meal, a board game, or a meet-and-greet, you won't be shy of meeting new people. Many have become great friends and even continue to RV together. Others love spending time with their family with their cell phones off, breathing in the Louisiana air, and making memories in the Cajun Country together.
